The 2010 summer recovery series focuses upon 8 Celebrate Recovery Principles based upon Jesus’ teaching from Matthew chapter 5 known as the Beatitudes. Recovery is a lifelong process for everyone because we live in a fallen world impacted by sin. We all have areas that reflect our brokenness but with God’s grace we can make changes and become more like Christ. As you learn these principles and choose to apply them to your life, you can experience His truth that will set you free! Read More

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered Recovery 12 Step Program designed to help you work though various hurts, hang-ups or addictive habits. This ministry provides support, accountability and encouragement as you work through the Biblically based 8 Recovery Principles.

 Glenda DeVries

I have observed God at work in amazing ways through Celebrate Recovery since we launched this ministry just over 2 ½ years ago.  People are experiencing increased freedom, healing and various levels of recovery from bulimia, food addiction, alcoholism, drug addiction, anxiety, fear, depression, marriage breakdown, sexual addiction - including internet pornography, suicide, anger, codependency, and also the damaging effects of emotional, physical and sexual abuse.

As followers of Jesus Christ living in this broken world, we are all on the road to recovery. Everyone has ungodly character traits; we have all been hurt and we have all hurt others. Becoming more like Christ is a daily lifelong process, but God has provided everything we need: His Word to renew our mind and the power of His Spirit to help us recover. The 8 Principles of Celebrate Recovery along with the 12 Biblically based Steps provide an intentional discipleship path for everyone to live by. Celebrate Recovery is a safe community to grow in your walk with God and to build healthy relationships with others as you learn to overcome hurts, destructive habits and work through unresolved life issues. God is changing lives in countless ways through this weekly ministry including my own for which I am thankful. I encourage you to consider coming out, newcomers are welcome every week!
